MOTHER MACQUILLEN is the tale of a mother and four daughters on top of a hill in Georgia, 1863; a Civil War battle breaks out some twenty miles away, a battle in which they have a son, husband and father in the fight; that night a wounded Yankee captain stumbles into their yard and they capture him; his presence, as well as the outcome of the battle, brings all their fears and passions to a boil.
